REFIT believes that school districts are the fulcrum of our villages, our towns and our state.
Our legislative leaders, elected by the people, have a moral and legal obligation to provide our students with instructional and non-instructional program parity throughout the state. Over the past several years, we have done more with less. REFIT districts have eliminated teaching positions while increasing class size at the elementary, middle and high school levels.
